President of Colonial Properties, Inc. in Orange is pleased to announce that Fred A. Messore has joined its staff as a Commercial Real Estate Agent and Development Specialist. Messore, a West Haven native, has extensive background in Economic Development, Banking and with Commercial Real Estate Advisory services. For the past 6 years he served as the Executive Director for the West Haven Economic Development Corporation, where he spearheaded and oversaw several major re-development projects including the revitalization and reconstruction of Saw Mill Road, a beautification project for lower Campbell Avenue which encouraged business expansion and enabled an annual street festival to be held and most notably, site selection for a Regional Train Station, which included initiating needed infrastructure improvements for the surrounding area. Messore has been active with several industry organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for The Regional Growth Partnership and West Haven Chamber of Commerce.
