Richetelli

Michael Richetelli is President and Designated Broker of Colonial Properties, Inc. A lifelong resident of the New Haven area, he has been a licensed Realtor for over 10 years. Prior to working in the Real Estate field, his background has been in Management and Sales. He also gained extensive experience in Property Management and Development prior to obtaining his sales license. As an active sales agent, he has been awarded two “Deal of the Year” awards by the Greater New Haven Board of Realtors- Commercial Investment Division. Under his leadership as President, Colonial Properties, Inc. has seen increased growth in market share over the past several years.
Michael is originally from Woodbridge and graduated from Amity High School, he also holds two bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from the University of New Haven. Active in both professional and community organizations, he has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors for 2008, he is currently serving his 2nd term as President of the Board of Directors for the Orange Chamber of Commerce and also co-chairs their Annual Golf Tournament. He is an active member of the Orange Rotary Club, and is director of the club’s AMBER ALERT Child ID Program which includes serving on the Rotary Statewide AMBER ID Steering Committee; he is also a past recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. He is currently a member of the Quinnipiac Club and the Yale Golf Club. Michael resides in Orange with his with wife and two children.

Fred A. Messore
Fred A. Messore has an extensive background in banking, economic development and real estate. For the past six years as Executive Director to the West Haven Economic Development Corporation, he managed and completed several city initiated redevelopment projects such as Saw Mill Road, Lower Campbell Avenue, Regional Train Station Site selection and infrastructure improvements.
Fred has also created a tremendous networking relationship that stretches in many areas that assists him in meeting the needs of his clients.
Fred is originally from West Haven and graduated from Notre Dame High School, he also attended SCSU. Active in community events, he served on the West Haven Chamber of Commerce, Regional Growth Partnership, member of the West Haven Italian Festival Committee, former President and Director of the Alife Society of America, Coach of Orange Youth Soccer and Softball. Gene Caso
Gene
is a Senior Commercial/Investment specialist that has over 20 years
experience in the real estate industry including over 10 years with
Colonial Properties. Gene focuses his efforts on Industrial and
Investment properties and makes great efforts to cover the entire
state of Connecticut to search for new properties and customers.
Prior to his entry into the real estate field, Gene had a long
history in the retail/wholesale business. His family owned and
operated a highly successful retail shoe store and Gene went on to
import shoes directly from Italy for wholesale distribution
throughout the United States. Gene graduated from Wilbur Cross High
School and attended New Haven College. He is a lifelong resident of
the Connecticut Shoreline and he has 2 grown children.

Dan Franchi
Dan has an extensive background in
commercial banking and real estate. As a longtime commercial lending
officer, he financed small business ventures and commercial real
estate purchases. He also managed and sold a real estate portfolio
for a bank holding company. For the past ten years, he has been
active in selling and leasing commercial real estate in the greater
New Haven area. Dan has an MBA from The University of New Haven and
a bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University and is very active
with the Quinnipiac Alumni Association.

Bill Ferrara
Licensed since 2004,
Bill Ferrara recently joined the Colonial Properties team. Prior to initiating his career in real estate, Bill graduated from West Haven High School, he went on to attended Johnson & Wales University then owned and operated a construction and remodeling
business where he utilized his sales and networking attributes and various resources to grow his business and increase profits by seventy percent. On occasion Bill still contracts as a project manager. He has also managed his own properties. He is an
active member of CT CCIM, a student in the CCIM Institute, a globally recognized commercial real estate network, a member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Greater New Haven Association of Realtors, and an active member of the Greater New Haven
Chamber of Commerce as well. Originally from West Haven, and lifelong resident of New Haven County, Bill brings a strong knowledge of surrounding markets and all types commercial real estate. bill@colprop.com

Gary
Richetelli
Gary Richetelli founded Colonial
Properties, Inc. over 25 years ago in a small, 2 man office in West
Haven, CT. Today, the company is headquartered in Orange and has a
total of 14 agents and staff members, and Mr. Richetelli now serves
as Vice President of the company. He started Colonial Properties in
1978 after he began his career in real estate at Kershner Company
Realtors in West Haven. Colonial Properties was his vision to start
a local company which specialized in Commercial Real Estate
Brokerage throughout the state of Connecticut, which at the time was
uncommon. Throughout the years Gary made a name for Colonial,
completing many landmark deals in the New Haven area and around the
state with both Fortune 500 companies as well as local and regional
clients. The company became increasingly well known for retail
brokerage, and is now associated with numerous successful retail,
office and industrial projects throughout the region, especially
along the route 1 corridor of New Haven County. He is a founding
member of the Orange Economic Development Commission and has also
served on the boards of directors for several Connecticut banks over
the years. Although he now has a diminished role in the brokerage
business, Gary remains active focusing his efforts on development,
investments, consulting and his Commercial Property Management
company.
Mr. Richetelli has always resided in
the New Haven area and now makes his home in Milford. While growing
up in Orange, he attended and graduated from Notre Dame High school.
He later went on to college at The University of Bridgeport, where
he received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He
also did graduate work towards an MBA in Finance at the University
of New Haven. Gary has been married for over 35 years and has 4
